This CD contains the scanned images (jpegs) of the proceedings of all Parish Meetings held in the village of Boughton, Norfolk, between 1894 and 2006.

Each scanned record has been imported into both Word and PDF files so that you can readily view the records. Each file is accessed by year and these files will contain one or more images depending on the proceedings conducted in that year.

An index has been created and this can be searched using four different search criteria namely 'Chairmen', 'Subject', 'Surname' or 'Year'. Additionally, you can access the 'Master Index' in either Excel or PDF format and this provides a more definitive list of subject matter and the years of interest. 'Master Index' is only available from the main menu.

Each of these search criteria can by accessed by using your mouse to click on the relevant command button on the Main Menu page. You can return to the Main Menu from any of the pages by clicking the relevant command button.

Clicking on 'Chairmen' provides an indexed list of all of the Boughton Parish Council Chairmen and hyperlinks to all years that they presided over council
Clicking on 'Subject' provides an indexed list of subjects discussed at the Parish Council meetings and hyperlinks to the relevant years
Clicking on 'Surname' provides an indexed list of people names that have appeared in the minutes and hyperlinks to the relevant years
Clicking on 'Year' provides an indexed list of the minutes arranged in years and hyperlinks to the each years proceedings

Once a command button has been 'clicked' the relevant minutes can be accessed by clicking on the (underlined) hyperlinks. To view the files in PDF format just click the relevant button before accessing the hyperlink
